VFDA honoured for its contribution to the Vietnamese film industry

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Tạ Quang Đông presented the Minister's Certificate of Merit to the Việt Nam Film Development Association (VFDA) and its chairwoman, Ngô Phương Lan, in recognition of their contributions to promoting the Vietnamese film industry.

Ancient house comes to life

The Ancient House at 87 Mã Mây has come to life with a new live show about a herbalist, one of the owners of the house in the past. Visitors can learn about the tradition of making herbs, and watch the lifestyle of family that once lived there with music and dances from the 1930s.

Singing in harmony

Hanoi Voices Choir has been a familiar destination for expats who like singing. Established in 2016, the choir maintains around 30 regular expats and some Vietnamese, who can sing in English. They come to the choir not only to share their passion in singing but also to exchange and show off their cultures. City museum opens Lê Bá Đảng art space

The HCM City Fine Arts Museum has launched an art space to honour renowned artist Lê Bá Đảng (1921-2015), who made a great contribution to Vietnamese art and achieved great success in France and other countries in Europe.
