VIMC makes Việt Nam's ports highly competitive

In the first three quarters of 2021, 98.2 million tonnes of cargo were handled at VIMC's seaports (up 16.8 per cent from the same period last year), generating revenue of more than VND5.1 trillion, including a pre-tax profit of VND1.55 trillion, up nearly 50 per cent from the same period last year.

Mcredit increases charter capital to VND1,300 billion

On 1st November 2021, the State Bank of Việt Nam issued Decision No. 1707/QĐ-NHNN on amending and supplementing some contents of the Establishment and Operation License of MB Shinsei Finance Limited Liability Company (Mcredit). Accordingly, Mcredit’s charter capital was increased from VND800 billion to VND1,300 billion from the reserve fund for charter capital.

VinFast officially announces US headquarters in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, California, November 16, 2021 – VinFast, the emerging global electric vehicle company, officially announced that its US Headquarters will be located in Los Angeles, California. The decision was welcomed by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and several California and Los Angeles government officials. The move by VinFast — backed by Vietnam’s largest multi-disciplinary conglomerate Vingroup — is part of a global expansion that includes the introduction of an all-new lineup of electric vehicles in the US, Canada, and Europe starting in 2022.
