HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam prevailed over ten options to win the right to host the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group III 2025.
The tournament will be the largest international tennis event of the year in Việt Nam.
The July 14-19 event will feature 40 professional players from ten countries and regions including Jordan, Cambodia, Iran, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Thailand and Việt Nam.
There will be two pools of five teams. The two pool winners will automatically be promoted to the World Group II Play-offs in 2026. They will be joined by the winner of a promotion play-off between the two teams finishing in second place in each pool.
The two teams finishing in fifth place in each pool will play in the Asia/Oceania Group IV in 2026.
Matches will be held at the Hanaka Paris Ocean Park in Từ Sơn, Bắc Ninh Province, a host venue of the 31st SEA Games in 2023 and the Davis Cup Play-offs last year.
