Fifty years have passed, Fidel Castro's affection for Việt Nam still has a deep impression in the minds and lives of many Vietnamese people, continuing to be a symbol of revolutionary heroism, undaunted spirit and aspiration for freedom and happiness, a symbol of close relations with the Vietnamese people.

The establishment of the Bangladesh-Vietnam Friendship Society (BVFS) in early 2023 was a milestone, helping to enhance understanding and friendship between the people of the two countries, as well as the bilateral relationship.
