The agreement is expected to contribute to further promoting comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, bringing positive impacts in many areas.

The officials consist of Dương Quang Thành, former chaiman of EVN’s Board of Directors; Trần Đình Nhân, member of EVN’s Board of Director cum General Director of EVN; Ngô Sơn Hải, Deputy General Director of EVN; and three officials of the EVN's National Load Dispatch Centre.

PM Chính thanked Lithuania for supporting the signing of the Việt Nam-EU Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and being one of the first EU member states to ratify the EU-Việt Nam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA)

“Grey zone activities are usually undertaken at the intersection between different domains between the civilian and the military, between peace and conflict, lawfulness and lawlessness, and between physical and cyber worlds,” the diplomat noted, saying that these conducts “have significantly heightened risks of confrontation and exerted destabilising effects on the rule of law and the regional order.”

PM Chính suggested the US side continue cooperation with Việt Nam in energy transition, climate change response, tourism and people-to-people exchange, handling of post-war consequences, and enhancement of national governance capacity, and increase scholarships to Vietnamese students.

Thailand is Việt Nam’s largest trading partner in ASEAN and the ninth largest foreign investor into Việt Nam.  

The two officials also agreed on stronger cooperation in advanced technology, education and training, culture and tourism.

Citizens will see no additional costs or procedures resulting from the changes in the draft idenfication law.

With Argentina being Việt Nam's third largest trade partner in Latin America and Việt Nam ranking as Argentina's fifth largest export market, there remains huge potential to expand cooperation and business activities to boost two-way trade beyond the US$4.8 billion recorded in 2022.

Ambassador Nguyễn Hoàng Giang called on all sides to immediately cease fire, exercise maximum restraint, respect international humanitarian law and apply all necessary measures to protect people's lives, including ensuring the safety of and immediate release of all hostages, minimising damage to essential civilian infrastructure in line with the UN Security Council’s Resolution 2573.

Việt Nam has become an important partner of Argentina in Southeast Asia thanks to the reciprocity of their economies, good political relations, as well as people-to-people and cultural exchanges.

The Government leader affirmed Việt Nam's strong and consistent support for multilateralism with the UN playing the central role and with global, comprehensive, and all-encompassing solutions that advocate dialogue and cooperation, promote international solidarity, adhere to the UN Charter and international law, and place people at the centre.

Over the previous six months, Việt Nam has admirably overcome obstacles and made significant strides, setting the stage for socio-economic advancement. Việt Nam continues to distinguish itself as a prominent player on the global economic landscape.

The two countries have become important economic partners over the span of just more than 20 years from 1991 to 2022.

With a solid political foundation, cultural similarities and economic complementarities, ties between Việt Nam and Argentina have been steadily growing, becoming a shining example of South-South cooperation

The interview took place ahead of Deputy Prime Minister Trần Hồng Hà’s trip to Brussels to attend the Global Gateway Forum from October 25-26 at the invitation of President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

President Võ Văn Thưởng emphasised that the defence of Việt Nam and Cuba maintained a close and mutually supportive relationship across multiple areas, resulting in practical and effective collaboration.
