LÂM ĐỒNG — The Lâm Đồng Province People’s Committee has issued new guidance on applying artificial intelligence (AI) to the operations of State administrative agencies across the province.
It is part of efforts to implement the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57 breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, issued in December 2024.
Under the guidance, the province People’s Committee Office, through its Information and Conference Centre, has been tasked with developing and completing the province’s intelligent operations centre (IOC).
The centre will research and apply AI to develop online, data-driven operating scenarios in line with the Ministry of Science and Technology’s guidance on provincial-level IOCs.
The provincial Department of Science and Technology will coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to conduct a large-scale pilot of the AI platform supporting public-service work.
The People’s Committee has also asked departments, agencies and local authorities to proactively apply AI to their professional activities based on existing regulations and guidance from the Department of Science and Technology.
The province, spanning the Tây Nguyên (Central Highlands) and south-central coastal regions, has piloted AI applications across State agencies, including legal AI platforms at 17 provincial departments, and across all 20 wards, 103 communes and one special administrative zone.
In addition, a public administrative virtual assistant (chatbot) has been piloted at six commune-level administrative units to support administrative procedures and online public services. — VNS
