Chairman of the National Assembly Vương Đình Huệ expressed his hope that Việt Nam and Australia will expand cooperation in energy transition during his reception for Treasurer of Australia’s Victoria state, Tim Pallas, in Hà Nội on Monday.

The PM took this occasion to thank ambassadors, chargés d’affaires, chief representatives of international organisations, and the governments and people of other countries for their sentiments and precious, practical, and effective assistance for Việt Nam.

The second extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly (NA) wrapped up on Monday with three resolutions and one revised law passed.

PM Chính will co-chair the 45th meeting of the Việt Nam–Laos Inter-Governmental Committee during the visit.

After the opening remarks from NA Chairman Vương Đình Huệ, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyễn Chí Dũng delivered a report, and Chairman of the NA’s Economic Committee Vũ Hồng Thanh presented a verification report on the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

In an interview granted to the Vietnam News Agency regarding Party diplomacy, Lê Hoài Trung, member of the Party Central Committee and head of its Commission for External Relations, said Việt Nam had expanded its partnerships in 2022, not only with political parties but also with States and organisations.
