HÀ NỘI — China’s landscapes, distinctive culture and advanced technology are on full display in Hà Nội as the Guangxi Science, Technology, Culture and Tourism Week opens to the public, offering an immersive window into one of China’s most dynamic regions.
Held at the newly built Chinese Cultural Centre at 300 Kim Mã Street and open free to visitors until November 28, the event marks the 75th anniversary of Việt Nam–China diplomatic relations and the Việt Nam–China Humanitarian Exchange Year. It aims to further implement the shared understanding of the two countries’ senior leaders, strengthen comprehensive cooperation and contribute to building a community of shared future between the two sides.
“Cultural exchange and tourism cooperation between Việt Nam and China is a relationship rich in tradition based on the long-standing neighbourly friendship between the two countries,” said Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoàng Đạo Cương.
“Since the beginning of 2025, the vibrant cultural introduction and tourism promotion programmes in both countries have gradually contributed to the development of bilateral cooperation in culture and tourism, which is good and sustainable, worthy of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Việt Nam and China.
“Guangxi is China’s dynamic economic centre and a land with a long-standing culture and rich tourism potential. Today’s programme continues to be an important step to help both sides open up new cooperation opportunities, so that more and more Vietnamese tourists can see with their own eyes the beautiful province and Guangxi friends can discover the beauty of the culture, people and country of Việt Nam.”
Visitors to the event are offered a sensory experience of sound, image, taste and touch, providing a broad view of Guangxi’s landscapes, ethnic cultures, historical depth and modern technological achievements.
Alongside this is a vibrant, modern and diverse cultural and tourism exchange space.

In addition to music, dance, calligraphy and puppetry performances and a food corner by Chinese artists and chefs, the organisers also hold a photo exhibition, President Hồ Chí Minh in Guangxi, China, a space for high technology with AI applications and an area for traditional handicrafts and decorations.
“The photo exhibition about President Hồ Chí Minh, the national liberation hero and world cultural celebrity in this event, is a vivid demonstration of the Việt Nam–China neighbourly friendship, an important activity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations,” said Deputy Minister Cương.
He highlighted that on this occasion, the Chinese Cultural Centre and the President Hồ Chí Minh Relic Site under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated to organise two exhibitions: President Hồ Chí Minh – Journey of Friendship, Eternal Heritage and President Hồ Chí Minh with Guangxi – Imprint of Việt Nam–China Friendship.
“The display is a strong message of respect for the legacy of ideology, sentiment and strategic vision on the friendly neighbourly relationship between the two nations inherited and developed by generations of leaders of the two countries,” he said.
“It also affirms that this legacy continues to illuminate the path of cooperation, trust and common development of Việt Nam and China in the new period."
In his response, Wei Tao, Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People's Government, suggested three plans to strengthen the two countries' ties.
