He will be supported by Vice Presidents Ng Chong Geng of Singapore and Muhammad Naim Al Amin Bin Saharudin of Malaysia.

Other board members are Brian Lim of the Philippines and Camacho Ramos de Silva Pinto of Timor Leste.

As the regional hub for collaboration within the esports ecosystem, including publishers, tournament organisers, training centres, and educational institutions, SEAEF aims to build a sustainable foundation for grassroots communities, develop professional leagues, and create clear pathways for Southeast Asian athletes to compete on global stages.

“SEAEF is built on the spirit of unity. By connecting our strengths and working together, we will build a sustainable ecosystem that supports players, strengthens national federations, and elevates Southeast Asian esports to the world stage,” said SEAEF President Đỗ Việt Hùng.

During its first term, the Executive Board will focus on setting strategic directions, establishing cooperative mechanisms, and ensuring synchronised development among member countries, contributing to making esports a sustainable and highly professional field across the region.

The establishment of SEAEF marks a significant milestone for the Southeast Asian esports community, laying a strong foundation for coordinated growth, international cooperation, and enhanced regional influence on the global esports map. —VNS
