QUẢNG NINH — Quảng Ninh Province has completed necessary procedures to hand over five Chinese nationals who violated Vietnamese law to the relevant authorities, ensuring absolute safety and in full accordance with international practice.

The handover of the five violators was conducted on Wednesday by the Bắc Luân 2 Border Gate Station under the Móng Cái International Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Quảng Ninh Police’s Investigation Security Division.

Following verification, the authorities found that all of them had entered Việt Nam illegally and were residing unlawfully in the locality.

The case dossier was then finalised by concerned professional units of the provincial police for handling and for the regulated procedures.

In response to this situation, the Quảng Ninh Police issued a warning, calling on organisations and individuals to strengthen their observance of the law, and firmly not to assist, harbour or tolerate foreign workers without valid documents. — VNS
