NHA TRANG — In response to activities marking Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2026, launched by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Nha Trang, Amway Vietnam has continued its collaboration with the National Competition Commission to promote safe, transparent and sustainable consumption, with a growing focus on data protection in the digital age.
The 2026 programme is being implemented under the theme Information Security – Building Trust – Sustainable Consumption, highlighting the need to strengthen consumer awareness amid digital transformation and the shift towards a green economy.
Through communication campaigns and direct public engagement, the programme encourages responsible consumption habits while improving understanding of personal data protection and information security online.
As a participating enterprise, Amway Vietnam has taken part in knowledge-sharing and community outreach activities aimed at supporting a more transparent and sustainable consumer environment.
During a thematic panel discussion, company representatives identified Information Security for Consumers in the Digital Age as a key issue in consumer protection, in line with the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights 2023 and the broader objectives of Vietnam Consumer Rights Day 2026.

Within the programme in Nha Trang, Amway also organised a Consumer Consulting Corner, where experts provided practical guidance to help the public make informed choices, particularly when using functional foods and health supplements.
Consumers were advised on identifying products with clear and transparent labelling, distinguishing legitimate from misleading advertising, especially on social media, verifying product origins through technological tools and accessing official sources of information while avoiding fraudulent websites.

Earlier, on March 12, at a launch ceremony in Hà Nội, Amway Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding with the Hà Nội Department of Industry and Trade to strengthen cooperation in protecting consumer rights in the capital. The partnership is expected to further promote green, responsible and safe consumption, contributing to a more transparent and trustworthy consumer environment.
Speaking on the role of businesses in consumer protection, Hùynh Thiên Triều, General Director of Amway Vietnam, said “Protecting consumer rights is not only a legal responsibility but also the foundation for sustainable business development.
In the context of rapid digital transformation, Amway is committed to continuously innovating technologies and processes to provide green living solutions while ensuring a transparent, secure transaction environment and safeguarding customers’ personal data.”
