Expressing concern that recovery efforts remained slow, PM Chính noted that the Government had issued a series of urgent directives to accelerate post-storm response across the central provinces, including Gia Lai.

While visiting residents there, PM Chính urged people to swiftly overcome the storm’s consequences and called on local authorities, military and police forces to help families repair homes and stabilise their lives.
He commended local residents for their unity and strict compliance with evacuation orders, which prevented loss of life, and asked local governments to support households that lost their homes, including by providing temporary shelter and assisting in house reconstruction.
The Prime Minister also ordered the permanent relocation of residents from hazardous areas to ensure long-term safety and said the Government is considering debt rescheduling and loan assistance measures to help affected people resume production and livelihoods. — VNS
