President Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on Friday sent his condolences to Senegalese President Macky Sall over a recent bus crash in Senegal’s Kaffrine region, one of the deadliest accidents in the West African nation in recent years.

The meeting was told that last year, 47 officials under the management of the Politburo and the Secretariat received disciplinary measures, 15 more than in 2021.

The two sides agree to put into action the conclusions of the two Politburos and the agreement on the 2023 cooperation plan to boost collaboration across spheres, from politics, diplomacy, and national defence-security to investment and trade.

Director of Việt Nam Register Đặng Việt Hà was detained and prosecuted by HCM City’s police for taking bribes. The police also searched Hà’s office and residence on Wednesday evening.
