The National Assembly (NA) on Friday approved the Geology and Mineral Law with an overwhelming majority of 446 out of 448 deputies voting in favour, representing 93.11 per cent of its members.

Speaker of the Singaporean Parliament Seah Kian Peng said he is delighted to welcome NA Chairman on an official visit to Singapore from December 1 to 3.

Lawmaker Thạch Phước Bình from Trà Vinh Province said that currently, media agencies operate as non-profit entities, serving political, communication and educational tasks instead of business goals, but still have to pay a corporate income tax rate of 20 per cent like businesses.

Y Thị Bích Thọ, Chairmwoman of the Kon Tum VFF Committee,  said that the document's contents have been implemented effectively by both sides, especially the promoting of the historical tradition of solidarity and close bond between the people of Việt Nam and Cambodia.
