HÀ NỘI — The Vietnamese women’s national football team concluded the year in 37th place in the latest FIFA rankings, as announced by the global football governing body.

According to the FIFA rankings, Vietnamese players have earned a total of 1,614.43 points.

The team remain the top-ranked team in Southeast Asia, with the Philippines following at 41st and Thailand at 45th globally.

In the Asian context, Việt Nam stand sixth, behind leading teams such as Japan in first place, North Korea in second, Australia in third, China in fourth and South Korea in fifth.

On the global stage, the US hold the top position, followed by Spain in second, Germany in third, England in fourth and Sweden, which have dropped to fifth.

The next FIFA rankings are set to be released on March 6, 2025. VNS
