HCM CITY — Vietnam Airlines (VNA) will adjust its plan to move all its domestic flights to Terminal T3 in the Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport, which was due to happen from today.

It is revising the previous plan to enhance convenience and optimise passenger experience.

Based on a review of actual operations, VNA will coordinate with concerned units to agree on the implementation time and update official information to passengers as soon as possible.

Currently, VNA is conducting flights between HCM City and Hà Nội, Quảng Ninh's Vân Đồn at the Terminal T3. Other domestic routes of VNA, along with flights of Pacific Airlines and VASCO, operate at the Terminal T1 until further notice.

Since starting to move some flights to the Terminal T3, VNA's work has received close and effective coordination from the Airports Corporation of Việt Nam (ACV) and related units, bringing convenient journeys and synchronised service experiences to passengers.

By Saturday, VNA safely conducted more than 390 flights and served more than 100,000 passengers at the Terminal T3, affirming its professional capacity right from the first days of operation.

Working plans at Terminal T3 have been proactively developed and carefully prepared by VNA and concerned units early on, with many flexible scenarios to adapt to the actual situation in the initial working phase.

The time adjustment to switch all domestic flights demonstrated proactive management aimed to optimise passenger experience and effectiveness between different units at Terminal T3, VNA leader emphasised.

The Terminal T3 in the Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport was officially opened and put into operation on April 19, becoming a large, modern passenger terminal, with a total designed capacity of 20 million domestic passengers per year.

The terminal was invested with a modern infrastructure system, advanced technology and spacious, airy space, bringing a convenient, fast and comfortable experience to passengers.
