Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bùi Thanh Sơn met with Politburo member and Director of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Foreign Affairs Commission Wang Yi in Jakarta on July 13.
The meeting adopted the ASEAN - New Zealand Joint Statement on Cooperation on the ASEAN Outlook for the Indo-Pacific.
The event formed part of the ongoing 56th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM-56) and related meetings in the Indonesian capital.
Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính has called for raising public awareness of digital transformation, with priority given to developing databases, promoting online public services, developing infrastructure and digital platforms, and ensuring cyber security and information safety.
