KHÁNH HÒA The central province of Khánh Hòa is holding several cultural events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its liberation from the Sài Gòn regime (April 2, 1975 – 2025).
The events also mark the 50th anniversary of Liberation of South Việt Nam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025).
The province is opening a photo exhibition entitled "Khánh Hòa - 50 Năm Thành Tựu và Phát Triển" (Khánh Hòa – Achievement and Development in 50 Years) at the April 2 Square of Nha Trang City.
The exhibition displays 250 photos and 50 paintings highlighting Khánh Hòa’s historical milestones, development and achievements in different fields over the past 50 years.
The showcase also includes artefacts and products reflecting the province's economy, culture, tourism and lifestyle.
Đặng Quốc Văn, deputy director of the province’s Department of Culture and Sports, said the exhibition offered an opportunity for local people and domestic and foreign visitors to review and learn about the historical and development journey and achievements of the people of Khánh Hòa in the past 50 years.
He added that the exhibition also introduced the province’s potential and strengths in different fields and aspirations for sustainable development.
The exhibition remains open until April 5.

Meanwhile, the main event will be a gala concert with the theme "Khánh Hòa – Entering a New Era" on the evening of April 2.
The concert aims to honour outstanding contributions and sacrifice for national protection and nation-building, and show solidarity among local authorities and people.
The show will highlight patriotic songs and feature more than 600 singers and performers from the Khánh Hòa Traditional Art Troupe, dance troupes and children's art clubs from the province and HCM City.
The gala will be held at the April 2 Square and broadcast live on television. VNS
