HÀ NỘI — Vietnam Airlines Corporation and Việt Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) signed a strategic co-operation agreement on Tuesday, teaming up to promote development opportunities.

Under the agreement, VNPT will provide Vietnam Airlines with digital transformation solutions and technology in corporate management such as eOffice, human resource management, customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning, as well as data analysis in the operation process.

Meanwhile, Vietnam Airlines will supply aviation transport services with special preferences for workers and officials of VNPT.

The two sides will also conduct cybersecurity, research and investment in developing services including e-payments, advertising and information via service networks of the two sides.

According to Chairman of Vietnam Airlines Phạm Ngọc Minh, strengthening the use of information technology and promoting digital transformation towards a digital airline is a major plan of the carrier. With the current network, large-scaled fleet and supply chain from the ground to the air, Vietnam Airlines has applied modern technologies solutions such as ticket book management system, flight operation, management of pilots and flight attendants and revenue management. — VNS
