Participating in this exhibition is the Italian Trade Agency in Vietnam (ITA), which, in cooperation with the UCIMA Association, will introduce 17 businesses from Italy in the packaging and converting machinery industry.
Over the three days of the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to meet and connect directly with Italian businesses to learn more about a range of advanced technologies across a wide variety of packaging machinery, as well as specialisations in processing, filling and capping, alongside primary and secondary packaging for industries ranging from food processing, beverages, confectionery, and agro-products to personal care and cosmetics.

Italy is one of the leading countries in developing environmentally friendly packaging, helping businesses meet ESG (Environmental – Social – Governance) standards. Italy is also renowned in the packaging sector, thanks to its combination of advanced technology, innovative design, and the ability to flexibly respond to global market needs.
Italian companies focus on investing heavily in machinery and automated packaging lines, which helps increase productivity and reduce production costs. Additionally, IoT and AI systems are applied to optimise production processes and monitor quality, which explains why many large Italian packaging corporations have exported machinery and technology to more than 150 countries.
March 23, 1973, was also an important milestone in Vietnam–Italy relations, being the date when the two countries officially established diplomatic relations. Vietnam is currently Italy's largest trading partner in ASEAN, and vice versa, Italy is Vietnam's third-largest trading partner in the EU.
For many years, ITA has organised an Italian pavilion at ProPak Vietnam, attracting a large number of Italian businesses, helping them to find partners, expand cooperation, and strengthen their brand presence in the market./.
