ĐỒNG NAI - Viessmann - a German-based leading provider of climate solutions, officially inaugurated its new factory in Đồng Nai Province on June 22, with the aim of strengthening the long-term value chain in Southeast Asia.

Ralph Biermann, Technical Managing Director Southeast Asia, stated during the new factory's inauguration ceremony, "Sustainable manufacturing has been taken into consideration at Đồng Nai from day one. We put maximum effort into establishing future-proof sustainable manufacturing step by step."

“We not only use photovoltaic technology to generate electricity but also focus on the use of sustainable materials in our production and packaging processes.”

According to Ralph Biermann, the factory utilises the Viessmann water filtration system to provide drinking water to all employees, with the goal of reducing plastic waste and conserving water resources.

Furthermore, the Viessmann factory avoids using plastic styrofoam for shock absorption and instead utilizes environmentally friendly foam materials for water heater insulation throughout the production process.

Towards the future working environment

The Viessmann facility in Việt Nam will hire 100 people over the next three years to meet the manufacturing demand for 300,000 goods, as planned until 2025. The Vietnamese labor force and businesses all along the supply chain will benefit greatly from Viessmann's investment in Việt Nam due to the numerous new manufacturing, research, and distribution jobs that will be created.

Following Viessmann's global commitment, sustainability begins within. As a result, the company emphasises creating a future-oriented work environment and committing to sustainable production standards. The company prioritises the office working environment, making it spacious, well-lit, and safe.

In addition, the company prioritizes investment in an advanced operational management system at the factory, utilising modern technology and advanced computer systems to facilitate convenient and efficient control and monitoring of production processes.

Aside from that, tablets are given to employees to use while carrying out production procedures, improving consistency in assembly processes and reducing training time.

The Viessmann factory places special emphasis on the management of hygiene and disinfection systems in order to provide a safe working environment and protect the health of the workforce.

It also ensures the sanitary safety of the internal components of water filters during assembly and testing. This system is rigorously implemented in accordance with the stringent standards of the Viessmann, including standards for cleanliness and disinfection procedures.
