Fried dough plant opens in Đà Nẵng

The wholly-foreign invested Vina Foods Kyoei's fried dough plant in Đà Nẵng’s Hòa Khánh Expanded Industrial Zone has been put into operation, providing products for both the domestic market and export.

ĐÀ NẴNG — The wholly-foreign invested Vina Foods Kyoei’s fried dough plant in Đà Nẵng’s Hòa Khánh Expanded Industrial Zone has been put into operation, providing products for both the domestic market and export.

General Director of the Japanese company, Ryuichi Nomiya, said the plant, which was built on 1.4ha beginning last year, will supply 400 tonnes of fried dough each month.

He said the plant, which was built with total capital of US$7.4 million, employs 50 local workers and has two production lines.

It’s the company’s second factory in the country it’s been present in for 13 years, bringing the total number of the firm’s factories to 13.

According to latest reports, Đà Nẵng has attracted 141 projects from Japan with total investment of $496 million. — VNS
