Hà Nội — The Việt Nam Tennis Federation (VTF) Masters 500, the Hải Đăng Cup, will be held from March 3-10 in Tây Ninh Province.
The first tournament of the VTF series will feature 65 athletes from eight teams competing in the men’s and women’s singles and doubles.
Participants include national No 1 Lý Hoàng Nam and rising star Nguyễn Văn Phương of Becamex Bình Dương, Daniel Nguyễn of Hải Đăng Tây Ninh, winner of the VTF Pro Tour 3 Chanelle Van Nguyen and former national team member Phạm Minh Tuấn who will be back in action after five months, both representing Hưng Thịnh-HCM City.
In the women’s side, National Games champion Phan Thị Thanh Bình from Đà Nẵng and winner of the Viettravel Cup 2018 Tiffany Linh Nguyễn of Becamex Bình Dương will be competing.
Apart from points, there is a prize purse of VNĐ500 million (US$21,500) up for grabs.
