Regional futsal lineup redrawn after Australia’s exit

HÀ NỘI — The AFF HDBank Futsal Championship 2017 programme had to be redrawn after Australia withdrew from the event.

Following the latest development, Việt Nam are in Group A with Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar and Brunei.

Group B has Thailand, Malaysia, Laos and East Timor.

The tournament will be held from October 26 until November 3 in HCM City.

The two best teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. They will also be looking to secure the four available spots in the AFC Futsal Championship in Chinese Taipei next February. — VNS
