HÀ NỘI — Nguyễn Văn Khánh Phong has received a slot to compete in the World Gymnastics Championships 2025.

His place came from Phong's silver medal in the men's rings event at the Asian championship 2024.

The world tournament will be held on October 19-25 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Phong is one of key member of Việt Nam gymnastics which will compete in two other important international events this year, the Asian championship in June in South Korea and the 33rd SEA Games in December in Thailand.

Việt Nam will also send athletes to World Cup series that begin in May. More world championship slots will be available through these competitions. VNS
