Việt Nam take six golds, finish second at World Beach Jujitsu Championships

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam won six gold medals from the World Beach Jujitsu Championship which closes on September 3 in Pattaya, Thailand.

The women's champions are Nguyễn Khánh Linh in the 48kg No-Gi (competing without uniform) event; Nguyễn Minh Vượng in the 57kg No-Gi; and Lê Thương in the 63kg No Gi.

The men's winners are Đào Hồng Sơn in the 56kg No-Gi and Cấn Văn Thắng in the 63kg No-Gi.

In addition, Việt Nam also secured two silvers and one bronze in other categories.

Nearly 100 athletes from different countries and territories took part in the three-day tournament, starting from September 1.

Thailand topped the medal tally with 12 golds, 13 silvers and 28 bronzes.

Việt Nam secured the second place with six golds, two silvers and one bronze, followed by the Philippines with four golds, six silvers and two bronzes. VNS
