Nationwide digital literacy movement launched to empower citizens

Inspired by the historic Bình dân học vụ (Mass Education Movement), which helped eliminate illiteracy after the national revolution, the new Digital Literacy Movement aims to equip all citizens with essential digital knowledge, enabling them to confidently navigate technology in daily life.

Fostering a food safety culture

In Thanh Oai District, Hà Nội, the SAFEGRO project has equipped kindergarten students across 31 schools with essential food safety knowledge through engaging, play-based learning. Educators and experts hope this successful model will be expanded and serve as a valuable reference for integrating food safety into Vietnam's forthcoming preschool curriculum.

Việt Nam pledges to strengthen TB tuberculosis prevention and control efforts

Last year, the National Tuberculosis Control Programme achieved its best results to date, detecting over 113,000 TB cases (a seven per cent increase from 2023), with a bacteriologically confirmed TB detection rate of over 72 per cent and a treatment success rate of 89 per cent (higher than the global rate of 88 per cent).
