HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội Department of Natural Resources and Environment has decided to set up an interdisciplinary inspection team to review housing development projects which have not been granted certificates of land use rights, house and land-attached assets.
The move aims to promptly handle violations by investors and also propose solutions to the city’s People’s Committee to remove difficulties in granting land use rights and house-ownership certificates – known as "red books" – for buyers who have completed financial obligations to investors.
On Thursday, a leader of the department said it has revoked the land use right certificates of some apartment building projects in Hà Nội which were jointly invested by Construction Company No 1 - a private company from Điện Biên Province and Bemes Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
The projects include apartment building complex CT6, CT5 – A,B and Xa La apartment buildings, bnews.vn reported.
During the granting of red books for homebuyers, the city’s Natural Resources and Environment Department found some floors have not been built in accordance with the approved plan.
The department also issued a written request to investors to contact relevant agencies to be instructed and adjust designs matching the approved planning. — VNS
