BÀ RỊA-VŨNG TÀU — The driver of a truck and his 6-year-old son died early Friday morning when the vehicle crashed into an oil tanker in Suối Nghệ Commune, Châu Đức District, the central province of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu.

Witnesses said that after hearing two explosions, they saw the two trucks on fire. The blaze was too large for anyone to approach.

The oil tanker reportedly was travelling on National Highway No56 from Bà Rịa to Long Khánh District when it was hit by the truck while on a roundabout.

The driver of the oil tanker managed to escape the vehicle uninjured, however the driver of the truck and his son were trapped, Tuổi trẻ (Youth) newspaper reported.
