Chinese national held over murder of pregnant woman

BÌNH DƯƠNG — A Chinese national has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a pregnant woman in southern Bình Dương Province.

Yang Zhong Wu, 47, is being held in connection with the death of Lý Thị M., 30. The two people worked together at an accountancy firm.

At around 5pm on March 29, employees of Wu's firm found the woman’s dead body in the office. She had been stabbed multiple times.

Wu was named as the chief suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was later found in Phù Đổng Ward, Pleiku City, in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.

He is currently awaiting transport to Bình Dương for further investigations. — VNS
