With around 200 Aichi-based companies investing in Việt Nam and a thriving Vietnamese community of 60,000 residents, Aichi stands as the leading Japanese prefecture engaged with the country, following by Tokyo with about 54,000.

The US will continue to enhance defence and security cooperation with Việt Nam under established frameworks and agreements, suitable to Việt Nam's needs. This includes cooperation in areas such as training, military medicine, peacekeeping, counter-terrorism, and prevention and control of cybersecurity and high-tech crimes.

The PM called for their unity, discipline, integrity, innovation and drastic actions to join hands with the Government to effectively accomplish assigned tasks, especially meeting the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress

They should also enhance collaboration in developing the Halal food industry, promoting the Vietnamese export of Halal products, seafood, fresh fruits, and processed foods to the UAE and the Middle East

Security and police cooperation has become an important pillar in the key cooperation between the two nations

During the visit, the ship's officers and crew members are scheduled to pay courtesy visits on leaders of the Naval Region 1 Command under the Việt Nam People’s Navy and the Hải Phòng municipal People's Committee.

“We hope and believe that Fulbright University Việt Nam will continue to make practical contributions to the development of the growing friendship and cooperation between Việt Nam and the US”, spokeswoman for the foreign ministry stressed.

The event, co-organised by the Việt Nam Border Guard Command, the Tây Ninh provincial Border Guard Command, the Royal Cambodian Army, and the Royal Cambodian Army Gendarmerie, aims to promote solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding among young border guard officers.
