HÀ NỘI – Robot Anbi, who can identify people’s characteristics by analysing their faces, has been launched by ANAN Technology And Development Joint Stock Company.
Nguyễn Hữu Thủy, General Director of the company, said the company has created a camera inside the robot, which can scan a person’s face and send back a report on that person’s characteristics.
The report includes a general view, core characteristics, strong points, weak points, and that person’s capabilities based on various skills such as the eagerness to learn and communicate.

The robot was made based on Big Data and AI, and is able to communicate in natural language. He can understand and reply in Vietnamese.
Its software uses advanced technology such as an infrared camera, which can scan colours and the density of coloured points on a face. Within ten seconds, millions of calculations are made to compare the coloured points, and then analyse and categorise the characteristics of the person.
The robot has been developed for the past five years by experts from the US, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, and Việt Nam.
It can be applied in education, psychology consultancy, selling, and customer service. VNS
