The Heritage Wing lobby was also partially refurbished and restored. Ceilings were modified with antique-style mirrors and the archways were enhanced with dark wood and made more rectangular. The staircase and three landings have also been redone, while preserving the original wood from 1901.

A prominent fixture in the heart of Hà Nội since 1901, the Hotel Metropole Hanoi has a long tradition as a luxury venue for prestigious events and a popular rendezvous for business and leisure travellers. The recipient of numerous international awards for its fine service, this legendary landmark has contributed to the richness of local heritage.
