During the three-day exhibition, Italian companies will present a wide array of products, rich in flavour and of superior quality, highlighting the essence of Italian cuisine. From traditional dishes like Italian pasta, ready-to-eat olives, truffle mushrooms, various beans, pistachios, Balsamic vinegar, wine, cookies, panettone, croissants, and breadsticks to more robust products such as cured meats, cheeses, ham, salami sausages, sliced meats, blended tomato sauces, flour, semolina, olive oil, spices, dips, and savoury snacks..., all of these will immerse visitors and food lovers in a world of diverse and captivating culinary delights.

Additionally, on March 25, the Italian salumi seminar “A Unique Heritage” will provide an in-depth look into the cured meats industry – one of the most distinctive products of Italian cuisine.

The seminar, organised by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Vietnam, the Italian Association of Meat and Salami Industries (ASSICA), and the Institute for the Promotion of Italian Cured Meats (IVSI), will run from 13:30 to 15:30. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste various Italian cured meats under the guidance of Chef Cristian Broglia.

Furthermore, the seminar will introduce the EU’s PDO and PGI certification systems and Italy’s role in protecting high-quality cured meats.

Italy is the first country to have its entire culinary tradition recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, where each dish stands as a testament to tradition, memory, and national identity. With fresh, diverse ingredients and refined culinary techniques rooted in the “farm-to-table” model, Italian cuisine has continuously evolved and firmly established its position on the global gastronomic map.

In 2024, with total exports amounting to approximately EUR 67.3 billion (+8.2 per cent year-on-year), Italy ranked 5th among EU countries in the F&B sector, confirming its relevant position as a key player in the sector worldwide. For the first 11 months of 2025, Italy's exports in this sector were recorded at EUR 65.3 billion (+5.3 per cent compared to the previous year)./.
