BÌNH DƯƠNG – A woman died after a fire broke out at her kiosk in Thuận An Town, southern province of Bình Dương, early Sunday morning.
Her husband and two children suffered from serious burns and are currently undergoing treatment.
The 30sq.m kiosk is also used as their vegetable store, and the family uses a small garret to sleep.
Local residents said that they heard calls for help from the kiosk in the early morning, and saw the smoke. They managed to break down the door to help the residents.
As soon as the door was broken, the father along with the two children, aged five and 14, escaped and were taken to hospital.
Local police are conducting an investigation to identify the cause of the fire. — VNS
