ĐÀ NẴNG – Đà Nẵng and central Việt Nam hold great potential to grow through cooperation with the Republic of Korea. He said Korean companies had established their presence in Đà Nẵng and central Việt Nam in a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, shipbuilding, tourism, and high-tech industries, contributing to regional economic development and job creation.

“Beyond the steadily growing cooperation in tourism and economic development, Korea and central Việt Nam are expanding the horizons of cooperation into various fields such as science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation,” Han Jung-il said.
He stressed that the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Đà Nẵng will closely engage and work with the authorities of Đà Nẵng City, Huế City, and Quảng Ngãi Province, as well as with local businesses, the Korean community, and the future generations, to further strengthen ties and deepen cooperation between the two sides.
Han said: "This year marks the 4,358th anniversary of the founding of Gojoseon (Old Chosŏn), known as the first state in Korean history. Gojoseon’s founding principle is 'Hongik Ingan', meaning 'to broadly benefit all of humankind'. Transcending the boundaries of time and place, this enduring ideal continues to resonate deeply with all of us living in the modern world today.”
“Indeed, today’s Republic of Korea is deeply rooted in the spirit of Hongik Ingan, which stands upon a proud and time-honoured history of half a millennium. Therefore, National Foundation Day is not only a day to celebrate Korea's long history but also an occasion to remember how the Korean people have preserved their identity, culture, and history amidst many adversities.”
“Today, rising from the ashes of war, we have built a proud nation aiming for a per capita income of $40,000. Việt Nam, too, has preserved its national identity through countless challenges over the course of its long history while achieving dynamic economic growth. These shared experiences enable our countries to understand and deeply empathise with each other’s development journeys.”
