Final victim in fatal car crash found

NGHỆ AN – The body of the final missing victim following a serious traffic accident in Nghệ An Province was found.

Of Monday, July 14 after many hours of intensive searches, the body of a young boy was recovered from the Cụt River, approximately 200m downstream from the where the accident happened.

The crash happened in the afternoon of July 13 on National Highway 46 through Ba Hà Block, Vạn An Commune of Nghệ An Province and left three people dead and three injured.

At about 5pm on July 13, a car driven by Trần Hữu Ba, a 37-year-old, resident of Vạn An Commune was travelling along National Highway 46.

Upon reaching Thiên Đường Bridge, the car suddenly lost control, crashed into several motorbikes parked by the roadside, one of which belonged to Đ.Đ.C, 32 years old, resident of Đại Huệ Commune, who was riding with his wife, child and nephew.

Inside the car were two passengers and the driver.

Following the violent collision, the car broke through the bridge barrier and plunged into the Cụt River.

The accident caused the death of the motorbike driver, while his wife and child were seriously injured.

The driver of the car was also seriously injured.

The seven-year-old boy and another person were reported missing in the river.
