Sick fisherman saved at sea off Hoàng Sa islands
A ship from the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre (Vietnam MRCC) rescued an ill fisherman and brought him ashore for medical care in the central city of Da Nang on February 24.

ĐÀ NẴNG — A fisherman who suffered a stroke at sea has been safety rescued in near the Hoàng Sa Islands (Paracels) early morning on April 9.
He is being treated at a hospital in the central city.
The Đà Nẵng City-based Regional Maritime Search and Rescue Co-ordination Centre No 2 (MRCC2 Đà Nẵng) said Đỗ Văn Hiền, 45, a fisherman working on a vessel registered to Quảng Nam Province (QNa 91892 TS), lost feeling on the left side of his body after a stroke on April 7 and needed an emergency rescue.

The fisherman received first aid and care by the medical team before being brought to land. — VNS
