QUẢNG NAM — Three people have been killed and 16 others injured after a bus collided with a truck in central Việt Nam.
The accident happened just after 1.30am Tuesday on National Highway No 1A in Tam Anh Commune, Núi Thành District.
Three people died instantly and two of the 16 injured are in a serious condition, according to Chairman of Núi Thành District’s People’s Committee, Lê Văn Sinh.
The bus was carrying 30 people from Bảo Lộc District in Lâm Đồng Province to Huế when it hit the rear of a truck that was parked on the side of the road.
Traffic police and rescue forces were called to the scene of the crash to help victims escape from the wreckage. Police are investigating.

It’s the second deadly road accident in two weeks in the central province.
