More than 12,000 new COVID-19 patients recorded on Saturday

Việt Nam reported 12,170 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, including 10 imported infections

 HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam reported 12,170 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, including 10 imported.

The new figure brings the national tally to 2,327,859 infections.

Hà Nội continued to top the country in terms of new COVID-19 patients with 2,778.

The other infections were recorded in Đà Nẵng (783), Quảng Nam (735), Nam Định (541), Vĩnh Phúc (495), Hải Dương (478), Phú Thọ (470), Bắc Ninh (402), Hòa Bình (395), Hải Phòng (362), Bình Định (339), Nghệ An (325), Thái Bình (298), Thanh Hóa (295), Thái Nguyên (287), Lâm Đồng (230), Ninh Bình (209), Hưng Yên (207), Bắc Giang (197), Bình Phước (165), Hà Nam (159), Điện Biên (140), Quảng Bình (126), Gia Lai (121), Thừa Thiên Huế (118), Quảng Ngãi (106), Quảng Ninh (105), Yên Bái (103), Sơn La (98), Hà Giang (95), Lào Cai (89), Quảng Trị (88), Cà Mau (87), Tuyên Quang (86), Bến Tre (73), Phú Yên (69), Khánh Hòa (49), Đắk Nông (39), Bạc Liêu (39), Sóc Trăng (38), Kon Tum (35), Tây Ninh (33), Cao Bằng (31), Trà Vinh (29), Bắc Kạn (29), Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu (25), Vĩnh Long (25), Hồ Chí Minh City (24), Đồng Tháp (19), Bình Thuận (15), Kiên Giang (14), Hậu Giang (12), Đồng Nai (12), Bình Dương (11), Cần Thơ (10), Long An (8 ), An Giang (7) and Tiền Giang (2).

The country registered 114 COVID-related deaths, raising the total number to 38,261 since the start of the pandemic.

More than 3,400 patients were announced as having made a full recovery. The total number of recovered patients has now increased to over 2.1 million.

Việt Nam has so far administered 182,102,962 doses of vaccine. Over 28.8 million people have been inoculated with a third dose. — VNS
