President Thưởng held that there is plenty of room for the two countries to further deepen their partnership. He proposed that the two sides work closely together to implement the Action Programme to realise the bilateral comprehensive partnership in the 2023-27 period with four prioritised areas – oil and gas, chemicals, Halal product manufacturing and tourism and people-to-people exchange.

This decree specifically addresses measures to prevent domestic violence against foreign residents in Việt Nam. This decree will take effect from December 25, 2023.

Việt Nam upholds basic principles of international law, especially the principle of peaceful resolution of international disputes, while the world is facing instability, conflict and confrontation.

On this occasion, Hungarian Minister of Justice Bence Tuzson conveyed the invitation of the Hungarian PM to PM Chính to pay an official visit to Hungary. The host leader accepted the invitation with pleasure, and asked the minister to convey his invitation to the Hungarian PM to visit Việt Nam.

Vietnamese and US defence chiefs have met to discuss measures to promote bilateral defence cooperation, focusing on war consequences settlement and humanitarian aid such as bomb and mine clearance, dioxin remediation, and searching for soldiers missing during wartime in Việt Nam.

The conference was co-chaired by US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken and US Trade Representative Katherine Tai, and attended by Foreign Ministers, Economic Ministers and Heads of delegations from 21 APEC member economies, and representatives from international organisations.
