Guest chef presents signature dishes for Turkish Food Festival

Turkish culinary culture, which is renowned for its diversity of resources, fresh ingredients and spices, will be presented to connoisseurs in Hà Nội during the Turkish Food Festival.

HÀ NỘI — Turkish culinary culture, which is renowned for its diversity of resources, fresh ingredients and spices, will be presented to connoisseurs in Hà Nội during the Turkish Food Festival.

Taking place at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, the event will be co-organised by the Turkish Embassy in Hà Nội and the 117-year-old hotel in celebration of 40 years of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Việt Nam.

During the culinary event, Master Chef Huseyin Kocabey, who has flown in from Istanbul, will present his signature pacanga boregi (pastry with pastrami), kuru patlican dolmasi (dried eggplant dolma), mutancana and other Turkish desserts.

Chef Kocabey has more than 20 years of culinary experience, having worked as head chef and consultant chef for multiple renowned Turkish restaurants in Istanbul.

Guests can look forward to a scrumptious evening buffet on October 27, featuring classic Turkish eggplant, chicken, lamb and beef Kebab, along with grilled vegetables and Turkish baklava.

The Turkish food festival will conclude on October 28 with a lunch buffet at Spices Garden.
