Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers has lighted up its Christmas Tree to kick off the festive season with a lot of fun activities designed for kids.
Children in need from Thu Duc Youth House and those of the Christina Noble’s Children Foundation were invited to attend the special event along with Sheraton Saigon’s valued guests.
“As part of the Serve 360 Pillars project, we continue with our ongoing cluster initiative on “Wish Upon A Star”, to bring some festive cheers to children of Binh Chanh Development Support Centre,” said Truong Thoai Yen, director of marketing communications of Sheraton Saigon.
She said that with the collection of 270 ‘wishes’ from these children for things they wish for over Christmas, their ‘wishes’ as ‘stars’ will be hung up on the Christmas Trees across the Marriott hotels in Saigon, thus the name “Wish Upon A Star” came about.
“We welcome all of you to select and purchase the gifts written on the stars to make each child’s wish comes true. We hope you will participate with us and share this love together for a noble cause.”
As a strategic partner of Operation Smile in Vietnam, Sheraton Saigon continues its commitment to raise funds to support life-changing surgeries for infants, children and young adults in Vietnam who were born with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities, under the Marriott Vietnam Business Council initiative.
She said,” We invite you to join the “Give A Teddy Bear, Save A Child” fundraising campaign - whereby for each teddy bear purchased, you will donate directly to the surgery fee for these children.”
Those interested can visit the hotel’s lobby to give and share. For more information about the fund-raising programme, contact directly via: 028 3827 2828, or email sheratonsaigon@sheraton.com. — VNS
