HCM CITY Michelin Guide Ceremony 2025 is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 5, at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort – nestled along the coast of one of Việt Nam's most dynamic cities. 

Returning with its one-night format that proved highly successful last year, featuring the official announcement of the Michelin Guide restaurant selection, a premium cocktail reception, and a live stream to engage a broader audience, this prestigious and exclusive event will not only unveil the annual Michelin Guide selection for Hà Nội, HCM City and Đà Nẵng and celebrate the accomplishments of vibrant culinary communities in these three cities, but also serve as an opportunity for these communities to unite and inspire one another to reach new heights.

Bringing together a diverse array of distinguished guests from the culinary world, including chefs, restaurateurs, industry professionals, representatives of the Michelin Guide’s official partners, and both local and international media, this invitation-only event serves as a platform to honour culinary excellence and encourage collaboration and inspiration within Việt Nam's vibrant gastronomic communities.

At the event, the Michelin Guide 2025 selection including the Michelin Guide Special Awards, the Michelin Guide Selected, the Bib Gourmand restaurant selection for the three cities and the much-awaited Michelin Stars will be announced.

All dining establishments in the selection are assessed and rated by anonymous Michelin Guide inspectors, according to five universal criteria: quality of the ingredients; mastery of cooking techniques; the harmony of the flavours; personality of the cuisine; and consistency over time and throughout the menu. 

These criteria are applied across all destinations globally, ensuring a consistent and fair selection, as well as a uniform and international standard of excellence. 

At this year's ceremony, there will also be guest chefs from around the region, bringing diverse culinary excellence to the reception. 

To ensure that the Michelin Guide Ceremony reaches a wider audience, a live stream will be broadcast via the Michelin Guide Asia YouTube channel - allowing food enthusiasts and industry professionals to share the night of gastronomic glamour, wherever they are. — VNS
