ĐẮK LẮK — The Đắk Lắk Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025, themed 'Flying Over the Great Forest', will take place in Buôn Đôn District, Đắk Lắk Province, May 1 - 3.

This marks the first large-scale event featuring unique experiences such as hot air ballooning in the region.

The festival aims not only to entertain, but also to promote cultural tourism, showcasing the rich rural heritage of the ethnic groups in the Central Highlands to visitors.

The festival will host a variety of exciting activities, including free-flying and tethered hot air balloon displays, interactive experiences, traditional cultural exchanges and food stalls featuring local specialties.

The Đắk Lắk Hot Air Balloon Festival is aimed at highlighting the specific beauty of the Buôn Đôn area and Đắk Lắk Province as a whole.

The event’s organising committee hopes to welcome over 250,000 visitors to the province during the festival, with more than 100,000 expected in Buôn Đôn alone.

This event is set to position Buôn Đôn as a prominent destination on Việt Nam's tourism map. VNS
