BẮC NINH — Bắc Ninh will build two new high-tech component manufacturing plants built at a cost of US$640 million.

The Victory Giant Technology Việt Nam Plant project, developed by Victory Giant Technology Co., Ltd. from Guangdong, China, specialises in the research, development, production and business of high-precision multilayer PCB circuit boards, HDI, FPC and Rigid-Flex flexible circuit boards.

These products are widely used in artificial intelligence, big data centres, industrial Internet, green energy vehicles, next-generation communication technology, aerospace and medical equipment.

The project has a total investment capital of $520 million and will be implemented in two phases.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vương Quốc Tuấn said that since the beginning of this year, Bắc Ninh’s economy has continued its growth momentum, achieving impressive results.

The province's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is estimated to have increased by 9.64 per cent, surpassing the growth target set by the province. It has attracted $1.45 billion in investment capital.

He expressed his hope that the company would quickly complete the necessary procedures to commence construction and put the plant into efficient operation while strictly complying with legal regulations.

Tuấn also attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Green Precision Manufacturing Việt Nam Co., Ltd. project.

Green Precision is a high-tech enterprise from China specialising in the research, design and manufacturing of precision structural components for consumer electronics, including speakers, mobile phones, tablets and electronic payment devices.

The company’s factory project was approved for investment by the Bắc Ninh Industrial Zones Authority on November 7, 2024, with a total investment capital of over $120 million.

Tuấn shared that this project is a crucial initiative in manufacturing precision metals for the production of electronic devices. After being put into operation, it will generate significant production value and contribute positively to the province’s development.

Bắc Ninh is one of Việt Nam’s most important industrial hubs, particularly in electronic component manufacturing.

With strategic advantages such as its proximity to Hà Nội, Hải Phòng Port and Nội Bài Airport, well-developed industrial infrastructure and attractive investment policies, the province has become a preferred destination for major technology corporations, including Samsung, Foxconn, Goertek, Pegatron and Amkor.

Bắc Ninh now has 2,459 valid FDI projects with a total registered capital of nearly $31.3 billion, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment. — BIZHUB/VNS
