HCM CITY — A multi-sensory exhibition called “Gut Venture” on March 29 officially opened its doors in HCM City, creating an engaging platform for public education on digestive health and probiotics.

The free-entry exhibition is co-hosted by Enterogermina Gut Defense Vietnam, the HCM City Pharmaceutical Association and FPT Long Châu at Vạn Hạnh Mall in District 10 until March 30.

The two-day event offers visitors an interactive experience through the use of AI technology and 360-degree LED installations.

Đỗ Thị Phương Khanh, Brand Manager of Enterogermina Vietnam, said the exhibition is part of its broader mission to spread awareness about probiotics and their vital role in digestive and immune health.

“With the theme 'What makes a probiotic effective?', this exhibition is designed to spark conversations around gut health and inspire consumers to prioritise their internal well-being,” she said.

The exhibition transforms the invisible world of gut microbiota into a lively and visually immersive journey, aiming to raise public awareness of gut health and the critical role of beneficial bacteria in supporting overall well-being.

Often referred to as the body's ‘second brain,’ the digestive system plays a vital role beyond digestion - it directly impacts immunity and overall health.

However, global statistics show that up to 40 per cent of the population suffers from chronic digestive issues, with 62 per cent facing common problems like stomach pain and indigestion.

The modern lifestyle, with poor diet, stress, and overuse of antibiotics, has further contributed to gut microbiome imbalance.

The exhibition introduces visitors to this overlooked system through themed zones such as the Gut Venture Lounge, where attendees can learn basic knowledge about gut health and take selfies before embarking on the ‘adventure’ inside the gut. These images are then transformed using AI into alternate "dimensions" - happy moments when the gut is in balance, such as enjoying a meal or relaxing on vacation.

The highlight was the 360-degree LED Gut Tunnel, where visitors meet Baci and Clau - animated characters representing “4-Strain Bacillus Clausii Intelli-spores,” the smart probiotics in Enterogermina Gut Defense.

Their story educates attendees on how probiotics work, the impact of harmful bacteria, and how to restore balance with the right supplements.

The exhibition also reinforced Enterogermina Gut Defense's reputation as a scientifically-backed digestive health solution.

Containing two billion spores of Bacillus clausii with Intelli-spores technology, the supplement helps restore microbiome balance, improve digestion, and strengthen gut immunity.

Dr. Nguyễn Thị Kim Anh, chairwoman of the HCM City Pharmaceutical Association, said what impressed her most was the innovative approach to a health topic that often feels abstract.

“The use of technology not only makes the information more accessible but also deeply engaging,” she said.

At the event, a Gut Talk segment featuring Dr. Lê Thị Tuyết Phượng, head of the Gastroenterology Department at People’s Hospital 115, was organised to provide expert tips on maintaining a healthy gut microbiome. — VNS
