The list of 10 best city hotels in Việt Nam is part of the 2024 Readers' Choice Awards 2024 by DestinAsian - a highly reputable travel and lifestyle magazine for travel enthusiasts worldwide.

Capella Hanoi, a masterpiece by architect Bill Bensley and Sun Group, has excellently tops the list. In 2021, Capella Hanoi was also featured in this magazine's The Luxe List.

Located at number 11 Lê Phụng Hiểu Street, on of the most beautiful roads in Hà Nội, Sun Group's first boutique hotel embraces unique Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture. It is the first hotel in Việt Nam operated by the Capella brand, recreating a luxurious inn for famous artists and composers during the golden age of Opera music in the 1920s.

According to experts, it's highly uncommon for hotel restaurants to achieve Michelin stars, making Hibana by Koki's achievement of this distinction within just three years of operation remarkable.

Since its official launch, the luxurious boutique hotel by Sun Group has continuously been honoured by international award organisations and the media.

In early June 2023, Travel + Leisure announced Capella Hanoi as the best city hotel in Việt Nam.

The World Travel Awards for Asia 2022 honoured Capella Hanoi as “Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel”. Shortly after, the New York Times praised the hotel as one of the 10 most outstanding new hotels in Asia.
