Vietjet on Wednesday announced its two newest international routes from HCM City to Phuket and HCM City to Chiang Mai (Thailand), serving travel and trade demands between these well-known tourist destinations.

HCM CITY — Vietjet on Wednesday announced its two newest international routes from HCM City to Phuket and HCM City to Chiang Mai (Thailand), serving travel and trade demands between these well-known tourist destinations.

To welcome the new routes, Vietjet will give away 180,000 promotional tickets priced from zero đồng from October 25 to 27 during the golden hours from noon to 2pm.

Promotional tickets will also be applicable for all international routes to Phuket, Chiang Mai, Bangkok (Thailand); Seoul, Busan (South Korea); Hong Kong; and Kaoshiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan); as well as Singapore; Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia); Yangon (Myanmar); and Siem Reap, Phnom Penh (Cambodia).

The offer is applicable on flights from November 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018, excluding the HCM City-Chiang Mai route that starts on December 12 and the HCM City-Phuket route that is being launched on December 15.

The HCM City-Phuket route will operate a return flight every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with some two hours per leg. The flight will depart from HCM City at 10.15am and arrive in Phuket at 12.10pm (local time). The return flight takes off at 1.05pm from Phuket and lands in HCM City at 3.10pm.

Meanwhile, flights on the two-hour HCM City-Chiang Mai route will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The flight will leave HCM City at 11.35am and arrive in Chiang Mai at 1.30pm (local time), while the return leg will take off at 2.20pm from Chiang Mai and land in HCM City at 4.25pm.

With the opening of these two new routes, Vietjet will operate six routes to Thailand, popularly called the “Land of Smiles”.

“Besides Bangkok, Phuket and Chiang Mai are considered to be travel paradises, which have attracted many international tourists, giving them a different and new experience with the beautiful natural scenery, diverse cuisines and unique local culture,” Vietjet said in its statement. — VNS
