The exhibition opened at the National Convention Centre in Hà Nội on Sunday as part of National Innovation Day 2026, themed “Innovation - a driving force for societal development”, and was designed to emphasise the role of innovation as a key engine for growth across all industries, sectors and society.
It showcased technological products, solutions and innovation models developed by domestic and international enterprises, research institutes, universities and financial institutions, and created a space to foster experiential and networking activities and the exchange of new scientific and technological ideas.
It featured domestic participants such as the National Innovation Center, FPT, Rạng Đông, MISA and Meey Group, and international corporations and organisations including Samsung, Meta, Toshiba, NTT, GGGI, Bosch and JETRO.
Government leaders and delegates were introduced to Việt Nam’s notable technological products and solutions through live demonstrations at several booths.
Beyond showing how fast technology is advancing, many of the products on display raised a question: as technology becomes more deeply embedded in daily life, how will people interact with it, and how can safety be ensured in the digital environment?
Students and young visitors had hands-on experience with the products and discussed their operating principles with the business representatives.
For many, the robots were the main draw. No longer just devices on display at a booth, they became a point of connection between technology and its users, with even seemingly simple actions showing how new technologies are being designed to be easier for people to access and use. VNS
